Black Tourmaline is a complex crystalline silicate mineral, containing aluminum, boron, and other elements. It is the element titanium which cause tourmaline to become black. The variation of black tourmaline is the most common form of tourmaline.
There are two kinds of black tourmaline - Schorl & Aphrizite.
